Coporate Strategy and Communication (CoSComm) was established on October 1, 2014. This formation was once came from acquisition of (2) division namely Corporate Planning Division (CPD) and the Office of Marketing and Communications (MarComm) before merging process.
The priority of merging both Division is to support the university agenda on lean management. The structure of CoSComm is formed by two section. First was Strategic Planning and secondly Corporate Relation Division. The Strategic Planning are responsible towards any portfolio which related to Strategic Management, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Risk Management. While, Corporate Relation Division will perform its function as comprehensive integration with strategic planning through an activities of Corporate Communication, Marketing and Branding.
CoSComm organization lead by a Director, Deputy Director, and Head of Division in accordance with the predetermined portfolio.
In carrying out its responsible, CoSCom play an important rules to produces corporate documentation or blueprints such as Strategic Plan, the Report of University Performance Indicator, the Report of University Ranking, the Management of Academic Quality Assurance, the Information Management, the Risk Management, the Continuity of Service, the Value Management, University official Website, Protocol, Event Management, Media Relations, Communication Crisis, Visitor Management, the Memorandum of Understanding among institutional, Putra Tribune newspaper publishing, e-newsletters and managing official social media.
Lastly, CoSComm was committed to provide excellent services to ensure UPM become a university of international repute and aim for achieve UPM Global 200. Therefore, CoSComm determined to contribute towards the achievement of the university through effective management of corporate strategy.
